Enterprise Records Officer, State of Oregon (Salem, OR/Remote)

We are hiring two Enterprise Records Officer’s (Operations & Policy Analyst 1) to join our Records Management Unit (RMU) team. In this position, you will ensure enterprise-wide records management compliance for ODHS, OHA, and Shared Services by coordinating with programs and teams across the enterprise to update and implement the Special Retention Schedules for all programs and associated program records.

While this position is based in Salem, the selected candidate will have the ability to work remotely anywhere within the United States of America. If you decide to come into the Salem, Oregon office location, we have drop-in stations.

What you need to qualify

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills.
OR
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.

Preferred: Bachelor of Library Science, Bachelor of Science in Information Science (BSIS) or Records Management.

Your duties at a glance

The Records Management Unit (RMU) resides within Imaging and Records Management Services (IRMS) and is part of the Department of Human Services Shared Services Section. The RMU provides support in program integrity efforts at the department by contributing to the processing of various Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) and Oregon Health Authority (OHA) documents and supporting overall records management compliance with the agency.
