The Role

The Research Services Associate will assist the collections process for the digital libraries utilized by Fidelity’s investment professionals. By providing timely and continuous access to documents and information, the Research Services Associate will support investment professionals’ research processes and decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate library student to gain experience in a specialized/corporate library setting! This is a part-time position (10-20 hours/week) through Fall 2022. Approximately three days per month will be onsite in our office in downtown Boston.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Education: current progress toward a Master of Library Science/Library and Information Studies (MLS/MLIS) or proven experience in cataloging or library collections

Experience in a front-line customer service role or library or office setting preferred

Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting are critical skills for this role

The Team

As part of the Research Services team, the digital libraries collect, catalog, and provide access to documents related to the investment research process. The libraries add value by retaining historical documents, providing timely and appropriate access to documents, and protecting investment professionals from potential exposure to non-public information.
