The Research Services Associate will assist the collections process for the Bank Loan Library, a digital library used by Fidelity’s investment professionals. By providing timely and continuous access to documents and information, the Research Services Associate will support investment professionals’ research processes and decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate library student to gain experience in a specialized/corporate library setting.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- Education: current progress toward a Master’s of Library Science/Library and Information Studies (MLS/MLIS) or proven experience in cataloging or library collections
- Experience in a front-line customer service role or library or office setting preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential skills for this role
The Team:
As part of the Research Services team, the Bank Loan Library collects, catalogs, and provides access to documents related to bond and loan offerings. The Bank Loan Library adds value to the investment research process by retaining historical documents, providing timely and appropriate access to documents, and protecting investment professionals from potential exposure to non-public information.
