LIS 512 Internship, Research Librarian, Conant Library at Nichols College (Dudley, MA)

Position Description:
Students enrolled in LIS 512 will work on updating our libguides. The project involves researching current trends in academic libraries, evaluating resources, comparing and contrasting varies libguides pages, communicating the new updates and changes to the Director, and updating the libguides. The Research Intern will be trained by director with the hopes of a natural mentor/mentee relationship to grow. This is a great opportunity for practical, real work experience in an academic library.
Qualifications:
- Currently an MLIS student at Simmons University.
- Students will receive course credit for this field experience, and must be eligible to take LIS 512.
Hours & Compensation:
Intern hours can be flexible, 10 hours per week as a remote position.
