Description

The Elizabeth Taber Library, a small historic yet modern library in the seaside community of Marion, is seeking a part-time Young Adult Librarian.

Responsibilities

The part time Young Adult Librarian will provide full range of library services to the patrons of the Elizabeth Taber Library, with a focus on tweens and teens.  Specific services will include programming, collection development, circulation, outreach, and readers advisory.

Qualifications

MLS or equivalent experience preferred, experience planning and implementing youth programming preferred.

Hours and Compensation

This is a part time position, 16-18 hours a week including at least one evening a week and occasional Saturdays.

20 dollars an hour starting salary offer
