Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30:
Maximum: 37.5 hours/week
Minimum: 15 hours/week and 5 hours/day

Description
The intern will be integrated into the Land Court’s multi-year Land Survey Records Digitation Project. The project goal is to digitize the complete inventory of the Court’s land survey records dating from 1898 to present day by scanning to electronic files. These include survey plans, calculations and correspondence of varying sizes and media. Document images and the corresponding data attribution will be linked to database records making them remotely accessible for retrieval and use by land surveyors, real estate conveyancing professionals and the public.
All work will be performed using the Land Court’s Land Surveyors Project Management System (LSPMS) database. Duties, under the supervision of the Land Court Survey Division staff, include:
- Records scanning and file naming
- Scanned image quality control
- Creating and editing database records
- Linking scanned files to database records
- Updating database records with attribution from images
- Database querying and quality control
- Database report generation
- Records refiling
Minimum Requirements:
- Computer skills with Adobe and Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with databases
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to navigate one flight of stairs
- Consent to Criminal Record Check (CORI)
