Description

The Southwick Public Library seeks to fill a temporary summer position involving 18 hours per week for 8 weeks beginning approximately the middle to end of June. The position pays $15.00/hourly. A high school diploma or high school equivalency is required. 1-2 years of library work as a page or volunteer are preferred. The Page is responsible for shelving returned items and shelf reading for accuracy, preparing materials for craft activities, assisting with the library’s summer reading program, and other duties as required. A copy of the job description can be obtained at the library. Applications should include a resume, three references, and Town of Southwick application. Applications must be returned in hard copy to the library. Hire is contingent upon a background check.
