As we wrap up the year and look forward to fresh starts, we know that many of you are setting goals for your professional future. If advancing your career in Library and Information Science is on your list for 2026, we want to help you get there.

We are thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the NELA Graduate Study Scholarship.

Whether you are just starting your program or are already deep into your studies, this is an opportunity to secure up to $1,000 in financial assistance to support your education.

Qualifications

Who Should Apply? Anyone working toward their MLS/MLIS degree.

To be eligible, you simply need to be:

• A New England Resident.
• A Current NELA Member (at the time the scholarship is awarded).
• Enrolled Full or Part-Time in an ALA-accredited library school or a state-certified school library media program.
