This internship offers an introduction to a career in publishing from a broad perspective. As an intern, you will be exposed to the process of sales operations, stock distribution, the operations of the commercial team, and inter-department communication. You will be expected to perform daily administrative tasks, you will also assist in small-medium sized projects related to the Boston office. This position will be based out of the Boston office.
Specific duties include but may not be limited to:
- Organizing excel files.
- Conduct and organize market research for staff in the Americas.
- Assist with planning for upcoming conferences.
- Liaising with business partners as needed.
- Assist Sales with customer communication and market feedback.
- Assist with other publishing projects related to the Boston office.
- Other administrative duties as required.
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications:
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Interest in a career in publishing
- Very task-oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines and complete projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills

- How an international publishing organization in the financial district of Boston operates
There is one part-time position opening for this role, 12-18 hours a week each, dependent on schedule. This is a paid position of $17 an hour. The earliest start date for this position is January 21, 2026, and the position will run until mid-May.
