Job Description:

Smith & Carson, an investigative research firm, is hiring Massachusetts based field researchers to travel to libraries, courthouses, municipal offices, and other locations to research individuals and entities on-site. Historical records researchers will piece together critical information to uncover the facts. In this role, you’ll also obtain copies of records and document your findings in clear, concise research summaries.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for historical records and a determination to uncover the truth. Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and build rapport quickly. Reliable transportation is required, and mileage will be reimbursed.

This position offers scheduling flexibility and part-time hours for students, with all expenses reimbursed. This is a part-time, as needed position.
