Join us on December 10, 2025, from 4-5 PM CST for an informative Spectrum Scholarship Recruitment Webinar hosted by the American Library Association’s Spectrum Advisory Committee!
The Spectrum Scholarship Program provides scholarships to Indigenous (including First Nations, Métis, Inuit, American Indian, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islanders), Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and Middle Eastern and North African students to assist them with obtaining a graduate degree and leadership positions within the library and information profession. Each scholar will receive $5000 as well as complimentary attendance (valued at $1500) at the Spectrum Leadership Institute held during the ALA Annual Conference.
This one-hour session will provide valuable insights into the Spectrum Scholarship application process, answer your questions, and offer tips to help you navigate applying. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from a panel of Spectrum Scholarship alums who will share their experiences, successes, and advice for future applicants.
