Research Intern, Simmons University Office of Advancement and Alumnae Relations, (Remote)

Description

Is quiet online work fun for you? Are you an eager researcher, who enjoys compiling data and getting the details just right? Would you like to learn about fundraising?

If so, please apply to be a Research Intern in the Office of Advancement and Alumnae/i Relations at Simmons. This is a part-time, fully remote position, funded for $17.00 hourly and 10 hours per week.

You will provide administrative support for two full-time, fully remote Advancement researchers, one based in Rhode Island and the other, in Wisconsin. This typically involves extracting biographical information from our confidential donor database—as well as public sources, such as LinkedIn—and then using it to prepare brief profiles of event attendees. The profiles are crucial tools for relationship building and are read by the University’s president and other senior leaders.

Qualifications and How to Apply

You must be enrolled at Simmons as an advanced undergraduate or graduate student. Email your résumé and cover letter to Meredith Reece, Director of Prospect Research, [email protected], and Jeff Walker, Senior Strategic Research Officer, [email protected].

Our previous Research Intern accepted a new opportunity overseas, and we want to fill the vacancy as soon as possible. Application screening will begin immediately.
