Scholarly Collection Organizer/Academic Archive Manager – Business Faculty Papers, Babson College, (Cambridge, MA)

Description:

We seek an organized professional to systematize and digitize the academic collection of a
business professor. This hybrid role with flexible scheduling involves both on-site work in
Cambridge Ma., and remote database development.

Key Responsibilities:

● Organize and categorize the academic papers, strategy, case studies, and teaching
notes and materials from a business professor’s 20 years of professional engagement
and work as a consultant. Most of the materials are for use in a classroom.
● Develop classification system for documents and curricula
● Create searchable digital contact database of students from 100,000 index cards
(about half handwritten)
● Digitize and tag documents for easy retrieval

Qualifications:

● Experience with database design and academic organization systems
● Understanding of business academia and MBA-level materials
● Proficiency in database software (Access, Excel, or specialized archival systems)
● Ability to work independently both on-site and remotely

Preferred:

● Library science and Business or MBA background
● Experience with faculty papers or academic archives
