Digital Asset Content Internship Summer 2026, Zebra Technologies, (Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY)

The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!

The Digital Asset Management (DAM) Team at Zebra supports Zebra.com and syndicated platforms and involves organizing, storing, and retrieving digital assets such as images, videos, and documents to ensure seamless access and consistency across all channels. It facilitates efficient content distribution, enhances brand consistency, and supports marketing efforts by enabling quick access to approved assets for use on various platforms. Additionally, DAM improves collaboration and workflow efficiency by providing centralized access to assets for different teams, ensuring up-to-date content is used in customer engagements and communications.

This marketing Internship at Zebra will provide you with the foundation to explore and apply for Zebra’s Marketing Development Program (MDP). The MDP is a two-year, full-time rotational program offering employees the opportunity to learn from experts throughout the marketing organization at our Lincolnshire, IL headquarters. 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the product model and sku image management infrastructure across syndicated systems supporting improvements to creation, upload, tagging, and syndication processes
  • Perform product and asset data management activities, ensuring timely completion within tight deadlines to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Proactively generate ideas to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of digital asset and data management processes
  • Handle multiple assignments concurrently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in asset and data management activities
  • Meet short turnarounds and deadlines for requested tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
  • Increase technology knowledge and skills
  • Develop team-based work proficiencies
  • Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Library Science, Information Management, Digital Media, Data Management or Marketing 
  • Must have an anticipated graduation date between 2026-2028
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Extremely organized, ability to prioritize work, and manage multiple projects at one time while willing to try different avenues to solve problems
  • Technically savvy and able to troubleshoot within content management systems and online web tools
  • Interest in digital asset management, data management or library science
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or another DAM vendor
  • Experience with Jira or other project management software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow

Hours and Compensation

Salary: $20.50-$30.00 hourly
