Job Description
Analog Devices Inc.’s digital library team supports informed technical and business decision-making and innovation for employees worldwide by providing online access to quality technical, business, and market intelligence research resources and services. This position provides the opportunity to participate in a broad range of corporate library operations including research assistance on technical and business subjects, cataloging, and document delivery services. The library is 100% online and our users are located worldwide so digital communication skills are essential.
This position is remote, 8-5 ET and temporary from August 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026. The library team is based in Wilmington, MA.
Compensation for this position is $25/hour.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Addressing incoming document delivery and research requests from ADI employees
- Cataloging market research (primarily copy cataloging but some original cataloging using team-grown taxonomy)
- Contributing to the library’s outreach activities (video tutorials, newsletters, and Teams post)
- Helping to maintain and update content on the library’s intranet portal and documentation
- Metadata updates for library content discovery layer
- Management and presentation of monthly and quarterly team statistics
- Curating a weekly business newsletter
- Team administrative tasks such as note taking, data entry and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Exceptional focus and close attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional and courteous approach to working with a wide range of researchers and staff
- Ability to provide excellent service to library patrons, including handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks, be flexible, and balance priorities
- Ability to learn and adapt to new library technologies and tools quickly
- Facility with Microsoft365 suite
Preferred qualifications:
- SharePoint, Jira experience
- Coursework towards MLIS or previous library experience, special library experience a plus
- Technical research background
- Standards procurement experience
