Job Description
Saint Louis University is seeking a collaborative and service-oriented Health Sciences Librarian to join our Research & Teaching team. This full-time, non-tenure track faculty position supports students and faculty in the Schools of Nursing, College of Public Health & Social Justice, and the Doisy College of Health Sciences. The librarian will also contribute to instruction, general research services, outreach, and collection development.
Position Duties
- Deliver instruction and research support to health sciences programs
- Develop research guides and video tutorials
- Support systematic reviews
- Build subject-specific collections
- Participate in outreach and assessment activities
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited program
- Strong communication skills and commitment to teaching
- Knowledge of health sciences databases (e.g., PubMed, CINAHL) preferred
- Experience with evidence synthesis, citation management, and scholarly communication is a plus
Hours & Compensation
- Full-time
- Starting salary from $60,000, negotiable based on relevant experience.
