Digital Archivist, UGA Libraries (Athens, GA)

The University of Georgia Libraries seeks a creative, collaborative individual for the position of Digital Archivist. This faculty Librarian position reports to the Head of Digital Stewardship in Discovery and Digital Services. They have responsibility for the accessioning and processing of the Hargrett and Russell Libraries’ born-digital archival collections and support cross-department collaboration. They will engage with the digital archiving community nationally and internationally through committee service and continuing education. This role will require close collaboration with the Head of Digital Stewardship, colleagues at the Special Collections Libraries, and others in the Libraries engaged in digital collections work.
