Description

The DCR Plans Library collects and preserves architectural, engineering, landscape, and land survey plans that were produced or acquired by DCR and its predecessor agencies. This collection includes more than 100,000 plans, from the 1890s to the present, documenting planning initiatives, construction projects and land ownership in the state park system. 

Responsibilities

Create item-level cataloguing records using Excel for assigned cataloguing scan job, representing one cabinet of plans in the Plans Library collection.

The intern would work to catalogue as many plans as possible, adhering to very specific and detailed Plans Library standards.

Qualifications

Must be an Archives grad student or recent grad. Cataloguing experience is helpful

Hours and Compensation

Unpaid, 6 hours per week.
