Librarian for American Indigenous Studies, Tozzer Library, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA

Reporting to the Librarian for Tozzer Library, the Librarian for American Indigenous Studies is responsible for supporting scholars engaged in American Indigenous Studies research and Indigenous communities utilizing Tozzer Library resources. This position engages in research and instruction activities, outreach and community building, collection development, and special collections projects.

Tozzer Library provides support to researchers in the fields of Anthropology and Indigenous Studies, as well as related fields. Founded in 1868, Tozzer Library houses extensive collections in these subject areas, including historic materials ranging from the 1500s to present day. Tozzer Library is actively expanding the scope of its services and collections through different initiatives such as the Indigenous Knowledge Collection, community events showcasing new scholarship, and more.

Job type: Full-time

Annual Salary Range: $76,400 – $130,000
