The Education Outreach & Research Services Fellow (EORSF) and Resident Librarian is an early-career or sector-changing librarian based at the Monroe C. Gutman Library and serves the diverse community of learners and teachers at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE).

The EORSF is sponsored by the Harvard Library (HL) Diversity Residency Program, the Harvard Administrative Fellowship Program (Visiting track), and the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Diversity Alliance. The Fellow is provided a full-time, two-year appointment to cultivate professional goals and interests in an academic environment complemented by career development experiences.

Reporting to Gutman Library’s Critical Pedagogy Research Librarian, the EORSF helps build inclusive and equitable HGSE learning environments to support student success through various forms of outreach, instruction, and programming. The EORSF serves as a member of Gutman Library’s Research Services Team and Communications Team.

Annual Salary Range: $72,000

Work Format: Hybrid (partially on-site, partially remote)

Time Status: Full-time
