Job Description:
The Digital Content Creator Librarian will develop, create and implement online tutorials, guides and digital learning objects related to library instruction, information and services.
Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, create and implement online tutorials, research guides and digital learning objects related to library instructional, information and services.
- Assist with various projects, including other projects as assigned.
Spring 2025 Semester hours: Average 9 hours per week, with total number of hours equal to 135 hours to be expended approximately from January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2025. There is flexibility in shift hours and days of the week. Specific start and end times and days of the week will be determined between the successful candidate and the Dean of the Library.
Location: Option to work on-site or remotely.
Salary: $26/hour
Benefits: This is a non-benefitted, temporary position.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- MLS or M.L.I.S from an ALA accredited program.
- Experience developing and creating online tutorials, guides and digital learning objects related to library instruction, information, and services.
Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience creating videos with Screenpal, Camtasia, and/or other screen recorder and video creation tools.
- Experience working with Springshare’s LibGuides content management system.
