The State University of New York at Oswego is currently recruiting for a Research, Instruction, and Outreach Librarian (Senior Assistant Librarian, tenure track). We hope you will join our team! The Research, Instruction, and Outreach Librarian serves as a core instruction librarian, sharing responsibility for information literacy and assessment of the library instruction program. This position reports to the Assistant Library Director and works closely with the reference and instruction team.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Library/Information Science from an ALA-accredited program by time of appointment.
- Minimum one year instruction experience.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively adapt to and use new technologies and software.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues, proactively advancing the work of the library department.
- Demonstrated interest or engagement with social justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion issues, through professional or community experience.
Compensation: $57,899-$59,899 commensurate with experience plus full New York State benefits package.
