Save the dates to attend Geoscience Information Society (GSIS) Geoscience Librarianship 101: a free annual seminar that offers new librarians, library science students, and experienced practitioners an introduction to some of the core areas of geoscience librarianship (https://libguides.lib.usm.edu/gl101/home). Registration is now open.

It also provides experienced librarians a refresher overview, offering a chance to network with colleagues and view current issues and concerns of the profession.
