Reference Substitute positions at Jones Library, (Amherst, MA)

The Jones Library is seeking experienced, enthusiastic Reference Librarians to fill in, on occasion, at the Jones Library Reference Desk. Please help us spread the word to those who might be interested. Details are below.

Position:

Reference Librarian Substitute | Intermittent part-time | Variable hours and days (daytime, evening, and weekend coverage needed – especially Sundays)

Qualifications:

* MLS, or substantial progress toward an MLS

* Experience working on a Reference Desk

* Excellent customer service skills

* Strong technology skills; familiarity with Evergreen preferred

* Dependability, courtesy, attention to detail

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Must enjoy working with the public!

Salary:

Starts at $23.97 per hour, depending upon experience
