This position will be partially based in the following office location:Manchester, NH
For hybrid roles, employees must be able to commute to Manchester, NH on a regular basis.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Director of Library User Experience, you will work within the Office of Knowledge Management and Information Science (OKMIS) on library user experience, accessibility, and DEI efforts to support SNHU’s mission and learner needs. You will serve the entire university community, both in person and online, and collaborate with partners to support learners’ success.
What you’ll do:
- Help evaluate the library user experience and develop action plans to positively affect evolving learner needs.
- Perform accessibility reviews and addresses remediation requests.
- Help develop and implement user experience training and best practices.
- Provide support in user experience and accessibility needs, including in person library services.
- Supervise, hire, and train student workers for necessary activities across OKMIS, including cross-functional projects.
What we’re looking for:
- 2 years’ experience performing accessibility reviews and evaluating user experience.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of digital and physical accessibility best practices.
- Experience supervising staff or student workers.
