(HYBRID) Research and Faculty Services Librarian, Law Library, Roger Williams University, (Bristol, RI)

Job Description:

The Roger Williams University Law Library seeks a dynamic Research and Faculty Services Librarian to join the law library in July 2024. If you are passionate about supporting legal scholarship and excel at providing research, instructional, and reference services to a diverse community, join an experienced library team in supporting the educational and social justice mission of Rhode Island’s law school, a national public service leader.

Reporting to the Associate Law Librarian for Research and Administration, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering a supportive environment for faculty and students alike.

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to delivering comprehensive reference, research, and instructional services, the Research and Faculty Services Librarian will lead the design and implementation of our next generation of faculty-focused services and programs and coordinate in-depth support to faculty members throughout the research and publication process. The Research and Faculty Services Librarian will succeed in these endeavors by cultivating collaborative relationships within the library, the law school community, with the University librarians, and the larger law librarianship community.

RWU Law librarians contribute to library-wide initiatives and strategic planning efforts, collect and analyze statistics to support program assessment and reporting, serve on relevant committees, and contribute to collection development efforts. The library administration supports and encourages active participation in local, regional, and national professional development activities.
