Adult Services Librarian

The Goffstown Public Library is seeking an Adult Services Librarian for a 40-hour/week, non-exempt position. This professional position requires good communication skills, computer literacy, and knowledge of reference tools and searching techniques, as well as excellent organizational and time management skills. M.L.S. or equivalent graduate degree, or any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities determined by the Library Director required. Starting at $23.79/hr. with an increase at the end of a successful trial period. Prior public service experience required, preferably in a public library.

Weekly Schedule (Every Third Week):

Monday             8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday             12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday       8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Thursday           8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Friday                 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Weekly Schedule (Saturday Weeks):

Monday             Off

Tuesday             10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday       8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Thursday           8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Friday                 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturdays          8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
