PAID DIGITAL ORAL HISTORY ARCHIVIST (DOHA) APPRENTICESHIP
Through this one-year, full-time paid Digital Oral History Archivist (DOHA) apprenticeship, graduate students, recent graduates, and postdoctoral scholars will gain a deep understanding of digital archiving through hands-on experience while shadowing the archivist manager on a number of core digital archiving procedures, archiving best practices reviews/development and archives administration, while having the opportunity to mentor student interns.
Recent graduates as well as graduate students and postdoctoral scholars from the fields related to Library and Information Sciences, Oral History, History, or South Asian Studies are invited to apply. The one-year paid apprenticeship will especially be beneficial to those who are poised to begin a career in digital archiving, digital heritage preservation, or library and information sciences fields.
