Reporting to the Deputy Director, this professional supervisory position is responsible for the management and operation of the Youth Services Department and its integration and coordination with the other major library divisions. The Head of Youth Services serves on the
Senior Management Team and assists with developing and planning library services and policies. We are looking for an effective leader with demonstrated excellence in personnel
management, budgeting, strategic planning, building community partnerships, customer service and current and emerging trends in serving youth ages 0-17. This is a 35 hour per week, union position and includes at least one evening and Saturdays in rotation. Starting hourly rate
is $38.57.
