Due to an upcoming retirement, we’re making some changes to the Library’s Adult Services Department. We’re currently seeking part-time Adult Services Librarians to staff our Information Desk, create in our Innovators’ Workshop Makerspace with our Makers-in-Residence, assist with planning and facilitating programs and create promotions and publicity. It’s a great way to gain experience in many aspects of library operations. Candidates should be enthusiastic, tech savvy, self-motivated, curious learners who are committed to excellent customer service, able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of humor. Candidates must have an MLIS or equivalent degree from an ALA accredited program or be able to obtain their MLIS degree within one year from date of hire. 8-16 hours/week, including some weekdays, an evening and a weekend rotation.
