The Newport Restoration Foundation is looking for a part-time, project based Archivist to help us organize and sort records, rehouse records, create finding aids, and digitize NRF institutional records.

Salary:                        

$25 per hour

Job Summary:           

The Archivist plays an integral role in making the institutional records of the Newport Restoration Foundation accessible to NRF stakeholders, including NRF employees, researchers, students, and members of the public. This position is responsible for organizing and sorting records, rehousing records, creating finding aids, and digitizing NRF institutional records. This is a project-based position, with up to 20 hours per week (depending on the scheduling needs of the candidate and NRF) for a period of two years. This will be a phased project, with Phase 1 focusing on developing finding aids and rehousing physical archival materials, while Phase 2 will include digitization and organization of digitized records on the NRF institutional server.
