The Peterborough Town Library is looking to hire a Programming and Outreach Librarian. This position oversees the library’s adult programming, community outreach services, digital resources, and is part of a team who creates inviting spaces and passive programming to delight our adult patrons.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and confident leader to help us meet our goals toward sustaining a vibrant public library for our community, while continuing to adapt our services as our patron base grows. Library visits, circulation, and attendance to programs continues to grow year over year, due in part to our beautiful renovation completed in 2021.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated public library experience, knowledge of library theory and practice, enjoy mentoring and working with all types of thinkers, and be excited to serve in a leadership role.
