Qualification:

Required Qualifications:
- ALA-accredited master’s degree in library science or information studies.
- Library reference and research assistance experience, or an interest in research librarianship as a career path.
- Library instruction experience and/or an interest in developing pedagogical skills in librarianship.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technology tools and skills and remain current with emerging technologies and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse population of faculty/staff, students, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively across library and organizational teams for projects such as collection management, promotion of library resources, and development of new library artifacts and initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience communicating effectively in a virtual environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic library experience.
- Instruction or training experience and comfortable presenting to small and large groups.
- Database knowledge and searching proficiency.
- Experience developing online learning objects or online modules.
- Experience training, supervising, or mentoring student assistants.
- Experience developing, providing, or assisting with events.
- Proficiency with learning management software such as Canvas.
