The Georgetown Law Library is seeking innovative, service-oriented candidates for the position of Head of Reference. The Head of Reference manages all aspects of the library’s Reference Department, ensuring that it provides high-quality research and information services to faculty, students, staff, and other patrons at one of the nation’s largest law schools. This position directly supervises a team of six reference librarians and works collaboratively with the heads of the library’s Research Services and International & Foreign Law departments.
Requirements for this position include the following:
· J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
· Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited school of library and/or information science.
· 5 or more years of law library experience (including supervisory experience).
