Call for Volunteer Reporters, Fall Virtual Symposium, New England Archivists

About the Opportunity

The New England Archivists Newsletter is continuing to look for volunteers to serve as session reporters at the NEA Fall 2023 Virtual Symposium!

Session reporters for this fall meeting (October 26 & 27) will write a summary of their assigned session for publication in the January 2024 issue of the Newsletter. We are currently seeking volunteers to provide summaries for three remaining sessions: “IDC Reading Circle: ‘Toward a Crip Provenance:’ Centering Disability in Archives through its Absence;” “Privacy, Description, and Access: Exploring Ethical Care of Community History;” and “Closing Town Hall and Closing Remarks.” You may volunteer to cover multiple sessions, and student reporters are welcomed. Reports should be between 400-500 words and are due on November 15th.

To volunteer, contact the session reports editor at [email protected]. Please note that sessions are assigned on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
