Who We Are:

The East End House Community Food Pantry serves individuals and families throughout Cambridge. We
support over 200 households per month by offering healthy, fresh, and shelf-stable foods twice a week. We work with partners like the Greater Boston Food Bank, Food Link, Food for Free, and Lovin’ Spoonfuls to supply our weekly resources and to ensure all patrons have access to adequate groceries.

What You’ll Do:

Help receive food donations from the Greater Boston Food Bank and restock the shelves at the East End
House Food Pantry.

This is a very active project! Volunteers should be able to comfortably lift 30-50 lbs.

Please Note:

East End House is a NUT FREE zone. This includes peanuts and all other nuts. Please refrain from bringing any nut products or items that may have come into contact with peanuts or other nuts into the
building.

Kendall/MIT (Red Line), Lechmere (Green Line), metered street parking.

Individuals can sign up on BostonCares.org by searching for “East End House”. You can also use the site
to track your volunteer hours and check how many volunteer spaces remain available on each date. Volunteers applying through the site will need to complete the BostonCares orientation.
