Serves as Assistant Library Director in a library serving a population of 50,000 to 250,000; does related work as required.
Experience and Training:
MS in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution or recognized by the New York State Education Department.
4 Years professional experience subsequent to obtaining MLS degree, one of which must have been in administrative or supervisory capacity.
Must be eligible for a New York State public librarian’s professional certificate at time of application for appointment; possession of certificate at time of appointment.
