End: Thursday 5 October 2023

Hours: 9 am – 5 pm each day

Pay: Negotiable, depending on experience

Duties:

Helping to inventory contents of a writer’s archive for fair market value appraisal. Archive inventory
experience required. Efficiency, competence and speed all highly desired. Candidate(s) will be expected to lift and move moderately heavy (30-50 lbs,) boxes, take digital photos and write useful, pertinent inventory notes. Solid knowledge of US history helpful. Previous experience in rare book and manuscript trade a plus. Other October or November dates possible as well. Job site is on Martha’s Vineyard, MA.
