Volunteer, The Brookline Public Library’s Sixth-Annual Mid-Autumn Festival Event, (Brookline, MA)

What: The Brookline Public Library’s Sixth-Annual Mid-Autumn Festival Event

Gain experience hosting large-scale community cultural events organized by a variety of partners at the Public Library of Brookline’s Mid-Autumn Festival, celebrated in person at the Coolidge Corner Library. Organized in partnership with the Brookline Asian American Family Network.

Where: Winthrop Square Park at St Paul St and Freeman St, Brookline, MA  02446

When: Sunday, October 15 from 12 – 5 PM

Who: You! We’re asking interested volunteers to commit to a minimum of two hours. Volunteers will be working side-by-side with our own librarians and staff members and gaining a behind-the-scenes view of what goes into putting on a library-wide program

12 to 2 PM: Set up

2 to 4 PM: Staffing one of the below fun activities
1) Photo booth
2) Lantern Decorating Craft Station
3) Calligraphy Station (assisting the calligrapher, managing the line, etc.)
4) Delicious snacks (including traditional mooncakes)

4 to 5 PM: Clean up
