Library Director, Holbrook Public Library, (Holbrook, MA)

The Holbrook Public Library is looking for a 40 hours per week Library Director to oversee our small library with a new and passionate staff with big ideas.

This job might be for you if:

-You have interest in being a library administrator, in overseeing the day to day operations of a small public library, and working as a partner with the Assistant Library Director to manage a fabulous staff.

Schedule:
Schedule is flexible with some remote work allowed.  The schedule shall include evening and Saturday shifts as needed for meetings, programs, community outreach, and to cover any staff shortages.  The schedule may include regular Work from Home remote work time.

Salary and Benefits:
This is a non-Union position with a contract with the Library Board of Trustees.  The starting salary for this position is negotiable depending on qualifications, with a starting range of $80,000-$85,000 per year, and includes a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

This role will be filled by a librarian with a Master’s Degree in Library Science as well as the State Certification of Librarianship from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, at least three years of related public library experience, at least one in a supervisory capacity.
