The Boston Medical Library is searching for library assistants to support the transfer and organization of their collection of medical texts and rare books.  

Job duties include unpacking the library’s book collection, locating and recording identifying features, and sorting them for future destinations. Ideal applicants should be comfortable handling and arranging physical book collections, many of which from the 19th and early 20th century in varying conditions. 

The position is temporary for the length of the project, part time, non-benefitted, and pays $22/hr.
