Young Adult Librarian, Belmont Library, (Belmont, MA)

We are seeking a new Full Time Young Adult Librarian to join our team at the Belmont Public Library. This role provides assistance to patrons of all ages, with a specific focus on Teenagers. This job has responsibilities focused on collection development, programming, outreach, reference, the usage of technology, and more.

This is a full time 35 hour per week position covered under a collective bargaining agreement with the Belmont Librarian’s Association. The starting hourly rate is $32.10 and qualifies for the Town’s comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental and life insurance, sick, personal and holiday leave. This position also comes with 4 weeks of vacation, the opportunity for professional development and qualifies for the Town’s pension plan.
