Statement of the Job:

To support the instructional, research, scholarship, creative activity, and public service missions of the University of Maine by managing interlibrary loan operations and assisting with the management of the library’s collections, with the primary goal of ensuring optimum access and usability for the user community. Position directs and manages interlibrary borrowing and lending services and processes for several University of Maine System libraries. Position directs and manages the lifecycle of electronic resources acquired by the library, including serials, monographs, databases, and media. Position participates in additional interlibrary loan and collection activities as required. Typical hiring range for position is $44,507 to $59,343 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
