Volunteer Opportunity – Fresh Truck/ About Fresh

Our Fresh Truck program operates mobile food markets in converted school buses bringing fresh fruits and vegetables to the communities that need it most in Boston all year round. Fresh Truck currently has 23 different market locations. Fresh Connect is a prepaid debit card and HIPAA-compliant enrollment and analytic platform, developed by About Fresh, that enables healthcare providers to fund healthy food for patients and measure related health impacts.

Fresh Truck has 2-5 markets every day Monday – Saturday where we sell produce at affordable prices. We are always looking for more volunteers to help out at markets with bagging, assisting customers with their shopping, and restocking produce on the bus. Volunteering with About Fresh is a great opportunity for students to interact with a wide variety of neighborhoods and communities in the Boston area, and we are always trying to diversify our volunteers!
