Brief Description

The Information Systems Librarian performs highly technical and responsible duties involving the maintenance of the library’s computer systems and the training and education of library users, including library staff and the general public. This includes planning, developing and integrating the use of technology in all aspects of library services. Promotes and provides exemplary customer service to patrons and staff. Provides positive and proactive reference and information services for patrons, using a variety of resources in both print and electronic formats.
