Job Description

Manage all aspects of collections, services, and programs for the tween & teen population, encompassing grades 6-12 (ages 11-18). Responsible for coordination, development, and implementation of outreach programs and services with an emphasis on youth, teens and emerging adults. Position requires reference desk assignments, including a weekly night and Saturday rotation shift. Reports to Head of Youth Services.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters Degree in Librarianship from a library school that is accredited by the American Library Association or recognized by the NYS Education Department as following accepted education practices.

Special Requirement for Appointment

Possession of NYS Public Librarian’s professional certificate
