Job Description

The University of Delaware Library, Museums and Press seeks a service-oriented, proactive, and collaborative individual who is passionate about helping current and future scientists to join our liaison team as the Foundational Sciences Liaison Librarian. To support increased interdisciplinarity across the sciences, this crucial new position will serve as a liaison to core science disciplines in the College of Arts and Sciences, with a particular focus on undergraduate information literacy and research. Reporting to the Head of the Research and Engagement Department, this position has responsibility for the provision of instruction, collection development and research support in assigned subject areas. This position will have the opportunity to work with peers and with the Research and Engagement department head to develop strategies and assessments for library outreach to undergraduate researchers in the sciences and will work collaboratively with other liaison librarians and specialists both within and outside of the sciences team.
