Job Description

The Reading Public Library in Reading, MA is hiring a Reference and Elder Services Librarian.

Position is full time (37.5 hours/week) including one evening and an every third Saturday rotation. Position is eligible for Sunday hours at 1.5 OT rate. Expected hiring range is $28.63-$30.98 and includes benefits and ample professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

The Reference and Elder Services Librarian is responsible for providing high quality, inclusive, and equitable library programs, collections, and services for library users with a focus on adults aged 55+. This includes oversight of the library’s homebound delivery service, community outreach, and collections work. The position is a part of the Research and Reader’s Services team.
