Accufile, the market leader in on-site and virtual information and research management solutions is
seeking a part-time (3 days a week/18 hours)Law librarian on behalf of our client a large law firm
located in Providence RI. The right candidate will be an experienced Law Librarian looking for a
permanent, part-time position. This is a Hybrid position.

Core Responsibilities

• Library operational functions to include rectifying and processing vendor invoices, interlibrary
• loan duties, checking in library material in firms ILS, maintaining library intranet page.
• Provide in-depth legal and business research services to atorneys and staff using both print and
• online resources;
• Provide library outreach, training and orientation programs to atorneys and staff.
• Library administrative functions to include monitoring vendor contracts managing library annual
• budget, reports, and acquisitions.
• Implement and maintain news, litigation, and client alerts; provides current awareness services
• to support the firm’s client and business development work.
• Maintain library memberships and passwords.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• MLS or MLIS Degree from an ALA accredited institution.
• 3 – 5 years of law library experience a must.
• Previous law firm experience is required.
• Broad knowledge of library tools, systems, and resources in special libraries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills: oral, writen, listening and interpersonal skills.
