The UW Libraries seeks an outgoing and service-oriented individual interested in being part of a collaborative team that works together to improve access to and sharing of biomedical and health information resources to the Region 5 states of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and U.S. Territories and Freely Associated States in the Pacific. In this role the incumbent will be the primary point of contact for Region 5 members and non-members and provide active consultation including training on NLM and NCBI resources. This position performs at an expert level for NLM resources and policies and demonstrates an extensive ability to process all areas in the NNLM program to deliver excellent service to librarians, healthcare professionals, and the community in Region 5. This position will work with a small team of full-time remote coordinators at the Regional Medical Library based in Seattle at the UW Health Sciences Library, and reports to the NNLM Region 5 Executive Director. NNLM Region 5 is funded by a five-year cooperative agreement grant from the National Library of Medicine.
